Fallout Re: MBT's

After reading the following, I'm feeling much better about my LEOPARD 1A5DK submission in terms of the modifications made.
https://www.armyrecognition.com/defe...y_denmark.html
"These include upgraded armor protection, improved suspension and tracks, and a new fire control system."

The above also gives us a first look at the early "refurbished" tanks and would appear that they've thus far done a commendable job so far.

The "training" tanks from what I can piece together should represent somewhere around the first 15 to 20 tanks at this time.

At that pace and the fact, they probably were in better shape (As already addressed some might need deep overhauls to include the complete replacement of the power plants (Again as I already brought up, how can you NOT turn over your engines for over 10 years!?! )

I still feel it'll be sometime this Fall before they become operational from refurbishment and combined arms training such as the T-55S went through from Nov. 22 - late Mar. 2023.

And again for the last time for these posts and equipment issues it is FULLY understood that we might have to make date changes "down the road" as we can't control the supply (Overall in a broad sense.) and training afterwards type issues.

Regards,
Pat
