To get you a quick response, I don't think the M1A1 tanks are going anywhere until Australia receives all their M1A2 SEP V3 Export versions.
The Ukraine issue is all just supposition and after the Ukraine blow them off concerning their offer to get the current attack helicopters several months back, I don't see the Aussies in being in any hurry to offer up the M1A1's anytime soon and if they do it'll be 2+ years before that happens.
I'm still sticking by my START recommendation for the M1A2 SEP V3 Export after further complementation again, for the reasons given in my last post.
