Yes it work in desktop resolution if you have set Scale and layout in Windows to 100% any Scale and layout change genertating screen problems like yours and you have to set game resolution to 1900x1200 or lower to fix this. I tryied to explain this i my first reply but forgot mention about changing in game resolution to desctop
