dumbluck: It sucks because it is a rent to rent OS. Buy it and renew it, hence the term "subscription". You don't ever really own it. Does that help?

Now if that doesn't suck, tesco samoa. I don't know what does. An in 6 years, I will still be running Win98SE or a second party OS system. And XP WILL STILL SUCK!!!
