That's what I was trying to say, just couldn't find the right explanation, I guess... With the current game file, the only thing that could be accomplished is a slightly toned down Version of omnipresent viewpoint.

IIRC, the combat data is stored in *.cmb files, but it has been a while since I've played, so I might be hallucinating
