Avoid Civ 3. I posted a very negative post about it here a year ago. The game just wasn't well thought out or fun. The AI can use a musketman to defeat a tank. Nuff said.
How the game achieved so many positive reviews is amazing, and a clear indication of how money does promote positive results amoung bought off reviewers.
