Default Re: Any One Here Still Play

The only two games I'm playing at the moment are SEIV and Alpha Centauri - both multiplayer (SEIV's PBW is the best multiplayer venue I've ever played - thanks Geoschmo!).

I think these are the best two games in their respective genres (4x and TBS) presently on the market. I've played all the Civ games (including the original Civilization board game by Avalon Hill. Anyone remember that one?) and all the MoO games. I am disappointed in Civ3; the gameplay is just too linear to be interesting. In AC, there are many different ways to approach the game and still win. Not so in Civ3. I'm looking forward to MoO3, which seems to take the original MoO (rather than MoO 2) as its inspiration. And, I will probably buy Stars! Supernova Genesis - if they ever find a publisher.
