The problem with testing connection speed is that it depends on how many servers you are bouncing off of, which can change each time you connect to a site. Internet information is like electricity in that it generally takes the path of least resistance. If you have Win2k, and Fyron I know you do, you can open a command prompt by click start then run then typing "cmd" and hitting enter. In the DOS box that opens, type "pathping any internet site" and the results will give you an idea of what I am talking about. With that in mind, if you have Win2k, you can open the performance MMC snap in and get a true calculation of your internet speed.
