No, the AI uses the Last mount entry in CompEnhancements.txt that is available to the particular size of ship. In the standard game, they are arranged so that the stronger ones are at the end. But if you add a new mount after the Massive ship mount that is available to any ship size, all AI ships will use it, even if it reduces damage to 1% or something.  |
