The people on the border colonies were crying out for protection. But Geoschmo believed that the way to defeat the evil Primitive was to not attempt to meet him in every place at once.

It was a dangerous strategy, for while he gathered his forces for a strike at the heart of the beast itself he received word of the obliteration of one colony and the dire threat of several more. Geoschmo hoped that the souls of the dead Eteru colonists would not haunt him forever for abandoning them to their fates.
