Thanks to Gozra/Gozguy for a good game. He fought it out to the bitter end and made me work for a victory. And, no, your starting position was good in general and very good in relation to mine – I had a thin start system surrounded by many empty systems. Using a tesco samoa map gave us a lot of separation, which became critical to my strategy. My racial choices were radical and I needed time before first contact to make them work.
