Default Possible Missle BUG

Ok, I'm new to this posting stuff but I have been reading for months and playing the game since seeing the demo on the Avault listings.

Anyway, first off, no mods to this game other than adding in a few extra races that i found on Universal Shipyards(great site) but this is my problem.

Situation: Being attacked by computer AI, ship is in range of missles on wpn platforms and is fired upon. turn ends. Missles are enroute but have not hit target. My ships get within range of targeted ship. Batter down shields and board, taking over the ship. Missles have not hit, turn ends. Missles are still on combat screen and now whenever platforms target another ship the missles don't go beyond the planet (ie, range is now zero for missles.) but the direct fire wpns can still hit targets. And the missles first fired at boarded ship never do leave the screen. This scenario has happened a few times during this game, havn't encountered it b4. Anyone else seen this? Is this a bug just for this patch or always there?

Your thoughts would be appreciated.
On another note it is nice to find a game where the message board is mature and helpful as opposed to flaming and misleading(like Diablo was). Keep up the good work and the Mods coming. (sorry about the length of this post> )

You're right - could be a bug. One of the patches (I think 1.19) fixed a "bug" where missiles would keep tracking a ship even after the ship had been taken over. Maybe your bug is related to that fix... send a savegame (or at least a description) to Malfador. Aaron'll respond pretty quickly, usually.
