Default Warp point....

Ever try to open a warp point in the same system?
It makes for a quick route across. You can only do it once in the system and the end point is random.

I don't think you should be able to do that, but I'd personally suggest to MM that he make that do something nasty like slurp the ship and any others in the same sector into a temporary black hole...

Hey, neat! Does that count as two warp points towards the 10-warp-point limit? Should make "fortifying" systems via warp point limits a little bit simpler, though I guess now that system gravitational shields prevent warp point creation it's not as important any more.

Edit: oops, never mind. Version 1.48 removes this functionality.

It counts toward the limit.

Why was the Grav shield thing removed? For that matter, where's the patch note for that Version?

It wasn't the grav thing that was removed, but rather the ability to make a warp point to the same system it starts from. A pity, I think it's kind of cool.
