Access violation

I downloaded the demo; when I hit the 'play' button, I get the folowing message:

'Access violation at address 00529948 in module WorldSupremacy.exe Read of address 00000058'

Any thoughts on how to address this? Thanks!

I received a similar error. Changing to full screen allowed me to play.

My access violation is:

0052A3AD in module 'WorldSupremacy.exe'. Read address of 00000008.

Driver 181.20 (may try a newer driver)

The game continued to load to a map, but there were no units on the map, it was basically all brown, nothing on the map.

Will also try this on my laptop to see what I get there.

Also when I ran it I turned off the music, but the music would again start up. When I exited the game and restarted the game the music stayed off.

When I went to full screen, the cursor was a missile (before it was the windows default) but I got to the 94% mark and the system generated a beep and hung at 94%.

I will read the other posts and see anyone else has useful information, such as running in full screen as opposed to windowed mode).
