Maps you want others to Make (edited subj)
Anyone have any map ideas that they would like to see someone else do?
We had a map in Dom1 where there were multiple maps linked. In other words the picture could show 3 seperate worlds. In Dom2 a map can apparently be any size (but a limit of 500 provinces). Maybe the middle would be a normal world map.
The upper image could be an air map with a strong circular air-current. The #neighbor commands could be one-way only? (does that work?) If it were long air provinces with small provinces in-between the big ones you could simulate fast air travel (flyers being able to jump the small link-provinces). In fact if you filled the small link provinces with something like monoliths you could pretty much make it impossible for non-flyers to use that path at all.
The lower map could be long tunnels with ways into and out of only at the far ends. They dont need to connect to each other at all. They can even cross each other on the image without connection (going over or under the other tunnel would be the impression).
Connections between the 3 layers of map would only be at points where you use a #neighbor command to connect them.

Re: Maps you want others to Make (edited subj)
Seeing as you ask:
I would like...
-a medium sized map for 6 or so players (around 100 provinces) for competitive MP.
-Not dominated by water (ie, that having 1-2 water nations in the game would not unbalance it because water surrounds all land masses providing supberb intelligence & raiding capabilities). Dandelion from Dom I is a good example of a map I like in this stead.
-With an 'advanced start' with 6 or so provinces/nation (can this be done without setting the nation types/starting locations in stone?)
You get this done and I send you a Xmas card in exchange.

I would need a map with all the unique demons in a one province, with their real names for test purposes.

Scenario: Quest for the Holy Relics.
These relics are what remains from an ancient and forgotten god: the Grail (the Chalice), the True Cross (the Ankh), and the Holy Lance (the Trident From Beyond???). They are kept by ancient and powerful guardians and armies in remote citadels. Whoever will retrieve at least 2 of these relics will be granted prominence in the new pantheon.
