Rats! SE4 Gold backordered!

Well, after agonizing about MOO3 for a couple days I finally gave up on it. Meanwhile spurred by some Posts on the MOO3 Boards I investigated SE again and after playing the demo for several hours today decided to go for it. Wouldn't you know it, must be a buncha people went through the same thing because SE4 Gold went from "in stock" to "backordered" during the course of today. Bah! At least my order is in, hope the backorder doesn't take too long. Back to the demo I guess :-)

Yes, Atrocities may have made a lot of money for Shrapnel Games and Malfador Machinations. Or more properly, Quicksilver and Infogrames may have made a lot of money for Shrapnel Games and Malfador Machinations... Atrocities was certainly not the first person to mention SE IV on those Boards. He's just the most aggressive advocate for it right now. The hard-core gaming community has been aware of SE IV for some time.

I wonder if we could get a report from someone about what sales have been like for the past few months and what they are doing right now.

IIRC, Last night at least, they claimed to have SE4/gold "in stock" for about $25 (+S&H), while I was browsing in general.

In fact, the release of MOO3 was a commercial operation to increasing SE IV gold sales !
