OT: Caveat about Outlook

Don't ever have outlook log anything. It was set to log stuff like commands issued and such for me, and it's log file grew to an enormous 2.8 GB!

Of course, this was over a year or so, but still. No wonder why my comp was acting weird!

The window's partition had no space left for virtual memory and such.

You can turn the "troubleshooting" logging stuff in Tools > Options > Maintenance.

You know, you gennerally aren't supposed to leave troubshooting programs/commands on -all the time-.

I always delete all Versions of Outlook from every computer I can use, whenever possible. If I need to use MS Mail, I use Outlook Web Access, a browser interface which leaves everything on the server.

Microsoft products normally work much better than people give them credit for.

P-D, the problem is that I don't recall ever turning it on in the first place.
