Alchemists Stone

Just forged the Stone for an indy Alchemist, and noticed it gave Fire and Cold resistance of 25. It doesn't mention any resistances in the description, so I fired up the magic item reference. Still no mention. So, my question is, should the Stone give that bonus? Or is it a bug?

Hmm, it does seem to give 25 fire and cold resist. How odd. I can't ever see that being at all useful. Alchemist stone isn't something you'd leave on a character at the end of the turn, and 25 cold and fire resist is barely any incentive to do so.

I think it is just meant to be an interesting little bit of color. The stone's properties give some minor elemental protection, but not much as its powers aren't really focused in that direction. Just a touch of flavor, IOW.
