Mouse issue. Please help.
I'm having a mouse alignment problem in LOL. Sometimes, the mouse pointer highlights a choice when the pointer is either above or below that choice rather than on it.
I have a Logitech Optical usb mouse with the latest drivers.
Any idea how to correct this issue?
(I DID purchase both D2 and LOL, btw)
TY

Re: Mouse issue. Please help.
Hey there -- we'll definitely try to figure this out for you.
Here are some questions to help us pinpoint the problem:
Are you playing in full-screen mode or windowed mode? (As a temporary measure, you might want to try the other mode and see if that works for you.)
Are you using a widescreen monitor/laptop?
And most importantly, have you applied the v1.10 patch yet? If not, make sure you do so -- that may fix the problem.
We've seen similar issues in the past, but I thought we'd fixed them all. If this one still exists w/ the newest patch, we'll do what we need to do make it work!

Re: Mouse issue. Please help.
Hi,
I generally play in Full-screen mode.
I have a normal CRT monitor on a desktop. Not widescreen.
I DID apply the patch. The patch does not help. Switching modes does not help Full/windowed). It's really frustrating because sometimes I must place the pointer an inch below where it should go to get a box checked etc.
And, as mentioned, sometimes the mouse is correctly aligned.
No other program has this issue for me, btw.

Re: Mouse issue. Please help.
Okay, thanks for your help.
If I may trouble you for one last step, it would be helpful if you could send a DXDiag.txt file to bugs@tinyhero.com.
To make a DXDiag.txt file, do the following:
-Click Start-->Run, type in 'dxdiag' and press enter.
-When the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window appears, click on the "Save All Information" button in the bottom right.
-Save it somewhere easy to get to, like your desktop
-Attach that file to an email to us.
That will save us lots of time, as it will give us information about your DirectX versions, hardware configuration, and some important settings info, like screen resolution, etc.
Thanks for your patience, and hopefully we'll get you fixed up soon!

Re: Mouse issue. Please help.
Hi,
I never heard back after sending the DXDIAG file.
Can you let me know what's up?

Re: Mouse issue. Please help.
I'm still trying to figure out the steps to get the mouse problem to happen for me. You said it's not like this all the time. When it does happen, is there anything more you can tell me that might be going on? I'm just not able to see this happen myself, so I'm hoping it's not a hardware issue - which would be more difficult for me to reproduce.
