Zen\'s Europe *Fixed* Final .map
Apparently there has been some confusion and some misunderstanding (and with the broken links) a little wierdness in trying to find the right file for Zen's Europe.
Here is the fixed file (I think tinkthank fixed it originally, I don't know if these were the fixes he did, but I appreciate it the same)
It includes all sea provinces, being sea provinces (Shocking!)
An adapted #nostart list, as certain Versions of the game doesn't accept the coded terrain Version of a nostart loc, you have to do it manually with the #nostart command in order to make sure it happens.
Find the file here: www.techno-mage.com/~zen/zeneuropefinal.zip brought to you by Gandalf Parker Hosting Incorporated. I'd like to give a special "Thanks" out to him for being a great guy and looking a little like Santa Claus.
You can also download it from the attatched file.
For those of you who enjoy the Single Player or a challenge, try downloading a modified scenario Version of this file from Frenchman PDF (Viva!) found at the www.illwinter.com/maps site. Undead Total War. Also expect a non-uglyred-targa borders targa in the future for my own asthetic vanity.

Re: Zen\'s Europe *Fixed* Final .map
I've updated my website's copy of the .map file (since, AFAIK, my site's the only location hosting the main map).
BTW, Gandalf looks more like an overgrown dwarf than the master of toy-making elves.

Thanks Zen for the kind word on my simple scenario. Funny thing is that the pbem I started on it months ago is still ongoing, with 5 players left on 11 initially, and I was just hosting the turn before reading your post !
Can you list the changes you've made so I can eventually update my scen ? I think I used an-already somewhat fixed Version by PhilD but don't recall this very well..
And BTW, are you back for good, with old grudges settled/forgiven/forgotten ? :eek ?
And can you update info on the fabled Zen's Battle Magic QR ?

I changed the two Sea Provinces that were plains to Sea. I nostarted all provinces that did not have at least 3 neighbors of type (Land for Land, Sea for Sea). So noone should get a bad starting position as far as their initial castle.

Look to the horizon young man, for the sails are spotted in the distance.

Quit teasing us, O Sage! Please send me a copy of the BMQR (in whatever format it's in) so I can convert it into PDF (using Adobe Pro 6). Oh, and while you're at it, can you please send me any of the other refs you have that are ready for release? My inbox has unlimited capacity and I have time to spare, and I eagerly await some mail from thee ...

... I think I'm waiting your BSQR with the same feeling I was waiting The return of the King!
I hope the sea will be calm enough for that ships to finally reach the land!
good play

I asked JohanK about that to see how much leeway we had in "red" and still give the editor something to clue on. Here is the response I got
>Im messing with the dommap again. I seem to remember that the map editor does better finding borders if the borders are red.
>How much variance is allowed in "red"? Is it any color where the hex starts out with FF?
Red is pixels with more red than the highest value of green and blue I think.
