New LBM image importation
I would like to incorporate into the game some new LBM images in an effort to create some near-future vehicles and weapons. I don't seek to modify existing units. Unfortunately I'm not at all well-versed in this sort of modification even though the means is part of the existing game. What I'm asking, and am willing to pay for the service, is to have a forum member who does this sort of thing with ease to place six new images, which I'll provide, into my game in some manner. I know this is an out-of-the-ordinary request, but I'd really like to see this happen. I've got the CD game with all the updates through v.09.

Re: New LBM image importation
Happy to do it.
The game images are twice as wide as they are high so bear this in mind when choosing your original images. I will have to crop to achieve this if necessary.
zip the originals and email them to me or add as an attachment here.

Re: New LBM image importation
Wow! This is great! I've got five images I'd like to send you.
I really am somewhat inept where this kind of technology is concerned and don't know how to "zip" the images and send them as "attachments" to you.
One other thing. The computer I'm on now is our internet computer while the "gaming" computer is a separate machine if this helps you with mode of delivery.
Thanks for your time and effort. I hope you'll allow me to send you a check for this as I really have wanted to do this for some time but just couldn't handle the process.

The game computer does not have a modem.

Re: New LBM image importation
I can do it; just send me links to the images on the net.

Re: New LBM image importation
yes good thought from Mark - If the images are on the net just give us the links.
No payment necessary it wont take too long to do.
You will of course have to find a way to transfer the files (once we create them) from your "internet Computer" to your "gaming computer" (floppy, CD, thumbdrive, etc).

Re: New LBM image importation
Thanks very much to the two of you! As you've already gleaned from my earlier messages, every part of this is a challenge so I'm thankful for yours and Mark's offers of help.
Yes, I can transfer the images via a thumb-drive. As to how to get the images to you or to give you the information you'll need to access the images, one of you will have to walk me through it.
"Links" were mentioned by you guys. What is a link? If I right-click on the individual images I pull up "properties" which provide some detail and I'm wondering if that is what is required?
Thanks for you patience.

Re: New LBM image importation
If the Images exist on the internet just give us the "address" of the image (from the URL bar of your web browser.
for instance: if i wanted to show you a futuristic imagining of a Merkava Tank i could give you this "link": http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/...v4-d3djelt.jpg
typing this (or copy paste) in your browser's address bar should get you to the picture
OR click on the "world and chain 'Link'" icon and paste it there to create a link in text like THIS
If the images are only available on your computer then add them as attachments to your reply (go advanced button, scroll down, manage attachments, select file names, upload)

Re: New LBM image importation
Hopefully I've just sent you attachments for five images. They are images of a Leopard, Puma (x2), G36 and a PzH2000. At sixty-five I'm still learning though the process is a challenge.

Re: New LBM image importation
OK. Here we are.
These are unfortunatley not perfect (for some reason even with the right palette I'm still getting some "cycling" on 1 screen in game), perhaps Mark can do a better job.
Attached is a .zip file within it are 5 files (PM01000.lbm, PM01001.lbm, PM01002.lbm, PM01003.lbm, PM01004.lbm). Sorry I can't attach the files directly - only certain file types allowed.
download the .zip from here. Unzip using winzip (windows may allow you to copy the files without unzipping)
Once you have the 5 files
Copy them into your game (...\Shrapnel Games\The Camo Workshop\WinSPMBT\Game Data\Pictures)
In mobhack these will be pictures 1000 Leopard, 1001 G36, 1002 Puma 1, 1003 Puma 2 & 1004 PzH2000.
Good Luck!
