Offensive Dominion

I was thinking today on an alternative to get a dominion that attacks other people´s dominions. Or a faster spread of belief.

Nation: Mictlan
Dominion strenght 1
(only build up to 3 other temples so max dominion is never more than 1)
Blood sacrifice at home castle and any of your other 3 temples.
every turn 4 new provinces should get your dominion before you encounter enemy's one.

Is the faster spread I can think of. I'll give it a try tonight I was just wondering if someone tried this before.

Every blood sacrifice gives you a "temple check", which Mictlans temples do not generate on their own like those of other nations.
A "temple check" @ strength 1 is lousy ... means you won't be able to overcome any other dominion.

The chance of a temple generating a possible increase is dependent on the initial dominion of the god. The chances of an increase from the god himself or his prophet is dependent on number of temples though.

Thus the effectivity of temples are determined by the godly power of the pretender and the effectivity of the pretender is dependent on his number of adherents.

This applies to blood sacrifices as well. Make sure you have high dominion if you are Mictlan. Later temples will not have much effect apart from a higher max lvl.

The max dominion and the ability to lower enemy dominion is dependent on temple numbers.

Yeah, you have a base chance of 10% for every time you make a sacrifice. When spreading into enemy dominion, it's -5% (I believe) for each one of their candles. That means, you can't spread into enemy dominion if he has even just 2 candles. Even if you were to pick Restless Worshippers, your base chance in enemy dominions is still a meager 35%.

This is actually why I chose Dominion 10 for Mictlan, myself. 100% base on all Dominion spread is peachy. I couldn't imagine picking anything lower than 8. If I am going to spend blood slaves on sacrifices, they darn well better be working for me! Too bad restless worshippers cannot be chosen with Order-3. :-P

Ugh, I tought it was automatic but it did spread quite a bit, maybe from the god exclusively.
