Developer Suggestion for PBEM
Problem: Player sends two files, in rapid succession.
Due to vagaries of email, there is no way to know which is the appropriate .2h
If you put a sequential counter with each turn file, an email host could tell when a trn file was skipped, which was the appropriate one etc.
aka 00001, 000002, 000003 incrementing with each .2h creation.

Re: Developer Suggestion for PBEM
It may be easier for the human to bear the responsibility of knowing better than to send 2 emails close enough to eachother that there is a risk.

Re: Developer Suggestion for PBEM
Or just put the counter in the email subject line or whatever else. But not in the game files.

Re: Developer Suggestion for PBEM
Well if you're using the LlamaServer, it e-mails back the details including precise sending time of the e-mail it ends up using, so you can check it's used the right one. If it hasn't, just send the correct one again.

Re: Developer Suggestion for PBEM
I wonder if the dom3 --verify check gives anything that will tell between two uploads. If so, then its already in the game.
