Fox hole/revetment location revealed when it shouldn't be
While fiddling around I couldn't help noticing how the fox holes and vehicle revetments are automatically spotted for the opponent when the unit originally dug in in said entrenchment is spotted. Now, normally this isn't a big deal but in some cases it can be pretty nasty.
For examply if a player has sent some of his troops away from their original positions to fend off an attack at another location, once those units are spotted their original position also becomes known to the opponent. And by seeing the original position of those troops, the opponent can deduce for example the locations of defensive lines and more importantly, where the said defensive line has been weakened.
Naturally only happens in assault/defence situations as those are the only ones where troops are dug in.

Revetments and foxholes are not units - they are part of the owner. Spot Fred, you also spot Fred's foxhole even if he left it on the other side of the map.

Re: Fox hole/revetment location revealed when it shouldn't be
And what I'm asking is if that could be changed or is it intended or is it one of those things that will break the game if tampered with? I'm currently getting some pretty unfrair tactical edge against my opponent as I can see he has withdrawn a lot of his forces from one point of the map, which is where my attack is going to be directed next.

And, I think, in an assault game, the attacker side shouldn`t have them.

this would make the attackers too vulnerable to arty and strafing planes, i once got a platoon of trucks loaded with mortars destroyed by arty on the pre game bombardment D:

This about that for a minute
Any army in one spot long enough for the other side to have mines , DT's and wire in place would also be dug in. ( and probably all or some of that on their side )
