Which Operating System will you primarily play on?
Not a scientific Poll, but was wondering who plays on which OS on this board?
Sorry if this poll has been done before.
Was caught between those who might play it on more than one OS, hence I said primary OS.

Re: Which Operating System will you primarily play on?
I answered it as the primary system that I play on (Windows) but an important point is that Linux is the primary system I would ever think of hosting on. Many games at once if I can manage to integrate to a web page.

Re: Which Operating System will you primarily play on?
Mortifer, Linux is far from being the free Version of Windows. Actually, it is a free Version of Unix. It is distributed by the net, which is why many programmers have modified it suitable for their own needs. What probably confused you is that there is a Windows-like Version of Linux around.
Of course, it could just be that I understood your post wrong.

Re: Which Operating System will you primarily play on?
Actually Id say unix is a free Version of a Windows server.
Linux has come a long way toward being a free Version of user windows with its share of pros and cons. Its does do an awful lot of what windows does. It loses some ground in things like games, but then it takes the lead in things like emulating other systems and playing their games. Of course the biggie in the "linux windows" area is RedHat which isnt really a free Version?
