Re: Resource generation by units in cargo
Or, dare I hope, a bonus for research platforms in special systems? Or a bonus for intel ships while they're cloaked in enemy space?

Re: Resource generation by units in cargo
Haven't seen this consideration yet...
Would intel and research points generated by units or ships be used in calculating trade bonuses?
Afterall, the remote miners don't count towards trade, right?
So I'm guessing that intel and research wil be handled the same way.

Re: Resource generation by units in cargo
At Last! Real NOMADS that don't need planets to get Research and Intel points!!!
I predict the P&N Mod will need a MAJOR rewrite!!!

Doubtful, but that would be a great suggestion for se5...

Re: Resource generation by units in cargo
I would like the population that is in the cargo hold gradually increase in size, or decrease if lethal components are present, much like Stars!

Re: Resource generation by units in cargo
This is kind of similar to an idea that I sent to Malfador re: facilities in SE5.
I suggested that planets be a random size between x and y 'spaces', rather than a specified size like tiny or medium etc. Facilities would occupy different amounts of space, and so each planet could hold a unique amount of facilities based on which ones were present rather than SE4's 'static' amounts.
