Default Bullpups

Hello to everybody!

I've played a 1962 scenario as USA and noticed that USMC has a F4J Fury, carrying Bullpap "air-to-ground" missiles.
And that F4J Fury can engage the small armored targets (f.e. tanks)with Bullpups with 90% accuracy!
But this was found on the net
"....The AGM-12B was a cheap and relatively crude weapon, not really very much advanced from the guided weapons used by the Germans during WW II. It was a sleek rocket, with small pneumatically-operated cruciform control fins on the nose and larger fixed cruciform fins on the tail.
The AGM-12B was roll-stabilized, optically guided, and controlled over a radio link, much as the German weapons had been. It had two flares in the tail to allow the operator to track it while using a joystick to keep it lined up through the aircraft's gunsight...."
Here is the link

Regarding all said above I dont think that in 1962 AGM-12B Bullpups can effectively engage small targets, such as tanks, armored cars, guns etc.
Any comments on this subject?

Yep - the version in the Nigerian OOB has a much more believable accuracy for that weapon system (1).

cheers

While I agree that the Bullpup should not be given an accuracy of 90%, I do not think that an accuracy of 1% is proper either. Perhaps below 50% above 20% may be considered. Particularly if you take in mind the many varieties of upgraded systems. Below is another link to review:

I like the one with a '1-15 kT W-45 nuclear fission warhead'. I would imagine that with such a warhead, accuracy wouldn't matter much!

That is absolutely right - the Bullpup should be given 30-35% accuracy, while I still have some doubts about small targets.
Anyway, as far as I remember, the only example of successful use of Bullpup was destruction of the bridge in Viet Nam.
