EA Arco and Dark Vines
It's been a long time since I played EA Arco, but in a recent game I'm playing them and I thought I might pick up a quick province by seducing the lowly Druid commanding some woodsmen in a forest.
I'm not sure if I didn't notice the Dark Vines, or just didn't think about them, but instead of getting a single N1H1 commander, I ended up with a N1B2, and he even brought along his retinue of 18 slaves.
I think I'll head back for the other 4 druids .
EA Arco has a pretty quick route to blood magic if you can manage to find an indy province with Dark Vines in it!

Re: EA Arco and Dark Vines
When I'm playing a race with Seducers, I send in Scouts with Retreat first into an indie and then Seduce provinces with unique mages or mages of a type I don't get.
I've netted things like an A7 Glamour mage, Fire mages, Circle Masters, Wizards, and all the other weird things that show up in indies.
A neat tactic to get those female mages is to Charm/Hellbind Heart them during the failed Seduction attempt/Assasination. The taken unit will attempt to attack the province when you take them, so make sure you take all the commanders in the province in one turn. This tactic once let me snag Sabrina the Sorceress with the unmakable Robe of the Sorceress artifact.

Sounds like a good plan!
How do you get unit number 1325 (Nagini)? It has seduction, but I can't figure out where that unit comes from. Bandar's Nagini is 1322, which does not have seduction.

That Nagini is the shapeshifted form of the Patalan Nagini.
I like seduce, but I like charm even more. In a recent game I managed to charm 2 of Bogus crew - the flier and Bogus. Of course I didn't steal the flier's crazy orders, but they were still fun to use.

The serpent Nagini uses the Change Shape command to become a humanish Nagini that Seduces.

Wow, you guys are really having luck seducing things with the Oreiads? I was never able to get them to seduce anything, including indy commanders. Have they upped their #seduce <number> in a recent patch?

Re: EA Arco and Dark Vines
It's early in a new game. So far against the druids I'm running at 50%, but luckily there are 5 in the province (I think there's always 5 blood druids). In the assassinations, the blood druids do brilliant things like cast "Sabbath Master" and "Sabbath Slave" (the same guy). If he summoned Imps instead, I'd be toast!
Anyway, the failures are no so bad, because the blood druids have a nice item each, and I get that as a consolation prize if I have to fry them with lightning bolts because of a failed seduction.

The provinces with the blood druids are worth capturing. Recently in a game I had to kill mine because they started right next to my capital and no seducers for my nation.

Another turn ran in my game. 3 for 4 success rate seducing blood druids with Oreos. I guess blood druids are fond of the ladies!
