OT MOO3 reconsidered

i got out my Moo3 and put on the 1.2 & 1.2.5 patchs then i got the Strawberry mod (just to let anyone know copy the MOO3.exe first before you install the mod the moo3.exe that comes with the mod DOESN'T work!!! after you get the mod installed copy the 1.2.5 MOO3.exe back into the folder and the game runs fine)

Thanks for the pointers to the mods and patches. I have to wait for the mail and will hunt them down when it gets here.

I have no illusions the game is going to be great. What I want to see is if it manages to capture the high level managment of systems. As I mentioned, I am not having as much fun at work as I used to and I directly put the blame on my distance from actual events. I suspect that part of MOO:3's problem is that it is trying to "simulate" something that just isn't much fun!
