Default AI taking control on non-missed turns in simultaneous games.

Has anyone here had any experience with the AI controlling aspects of their empire that it has not been asked to do when in simultaneous games and the turn has not been missed? For two turns in a row now, I've had the AI override my specific orders to two ships, to the extent of turning an order to move them both to a single planet into an order to move one of the ships to the planet and then scrap it, all in the same turn. I've also had two consecutive turns where the AI has sent replies before I've had a chance to read the Messages. The only ministers turned on when this occurred where the transport minister, carrier minister, and the cloaking minister. I've had no problems in the past with cloaking or transports, so could it be the carrier minister screwing things up?

Yes, i have had that before, make sure you submitted the real turn, not one generated Last turn, i have done this before and gotten bad results because i unzipped the .gam files to the wrong place by accident.

Even so i've had times when i couldnt' figure out what i did wrong. Just pray to the gods of AI and use the NO AI mod when at all possible.

Graeme, this happens fairly frequently. What Skulky says is usuially the problem. Either the player unzips the turn to the wrong folder, so what you are playin gis the wrong turn, or when they upload their .plr file they upload one from the wrong folder. So they could be playing the correct turn, but uploading the some one over and over.

Do a find on your computer for .plr files with the same name as the .plr file you are gettgin for that turn. If you find more than one chances are that's what's happeneing.

If you still don't see a problem I can take a look at the specific game and see if I can figure out what's happening. Let me know if you need more help.
