Ringworld

Hi, I am relatively new on this forum and the game itself, so I have a question

:
How can I build a ringworld as the maximum capacity of my ships is 1500KT (no more research possible on ship construction) and the components needed are 2000KT?
I just wanted to try it out, but with no succes.
