Changing Win7 taskbar position messes up screen?

If you do opt for re-installing don't just delete the game, un-install it. That way you should also deal with any registry entries, which is probably what is causing the problem.

OR..... as an experiment re-install the game ( .......always anywhere but program files when using Vista or Win7...... ) under an "X" name like Xwinspww2 as a test and see if that works. If it does you can go ahead and copy all you saved game folders to a safe place then uninstall what's left and re-install right back where you are now then move the save games over and you should be good to go
