Yes, it's entirely possible, but the high number of asteroids means that you will quickly (~100 turns) have remote mining projects that will outproduce your homeworld by four or five times.

his signature had an animation of a fighter walking towards you. unfortunately he removed it. i agree his avatar would look nice with the animated eye, and sound fx.

4 or 5 times? Hah! Try 900k mins, and about 450k orgs and 450k rads from RM! Combining FQM and Proportions should be accompanied by greatly lowering the value of asteroids.

FQM Deluxe includes a lot of NASA pics of real nebulae.

Puke:
Umm... assuming you give credit, I don't mind FQM being incorporated into the grit tech mod. Just get it done sometime soon!

right, pre release should be out FRIDAY! at various times, i have asked all kinds of people to use parts of their mods, and ideas that have come up on the forum in various mods or things i have been working on, and I thought the quadrant mod was one of them. I always credit where i pulled things from, and i am very sorry if i had not asked about FQM. for the reccord, I am also stealing parts of porportions, and several ideas that first cropped up in Devnull and P&N. these will all be mentioned in the modinfo text / readme.

It's not stealing if you give credit.

You may have asked at one point, and I forgot. I don't know.

The next Version of Proportions will address the asteroids thing - it's not meant to be so productive when you use bases. Essentially, remote mining will have max components per unit = 2.

Although, the current mix of FQM and Proportions certainly speeds up production, and turns Proportions into a race for asteroids, with rather large armadas possible. Kind of interesting, actually, as seen in Adamant 0006 on PBW, which has a couple of slots available.
