CD music weirdness

This is a well-known oddity of SE IV.

(Putting in/taking out) a (music/non-music) CD (speeds up/slows down) the graphics.

Pick one from each pair.

Different people get different behaviors, in no recognizable pattern.

Even if I start the game with the CD in, it happens... Didn't used to happen with older Versions of SE4... lemme check with 1.49... weird, it's happening! Maybe it's because I'm playing on a laptop and the CD software used by SE4 possibly lacks skip control???
