Both the Starliner Module and Colony Development techs just keep goign without greying out to show they are maxed out.

For starliner modules you need to research cargo in parallel. You probably don't want to advance too quickly in colonial dev because it makes upgrading cities hideously expensive. Better to research it slowly to control your upgrade options.
But if you do want to race on to metropolis and arcology, research construction and industry in parallel.

Re: Ordered and Shipped!!
I must say, it is addicting. I really have been enjoying it. I am still playing my first game (unmodded). What a bLast. I have always been a big fan of space empire type games, MOO, MOO2, VGA Planets, etc. But based upon how much I am enjoying SEIV and the bad comments concerning MOO3 I will not be purchasing MOO3.
I seem there is a FAQ topic that has this monster posting. This should be helpful for some things. Are there any other FAQ type things somewhere?
Thanks,

It's a shame because i always liked to include little things in the galaxy notes thing, i think it should be changed back to what it was pre gold

I just tested using Alt+Enter and Ctrl+Enter as well; both combos closed the window rather than inserting a carriage return. However, I did discover that if you paste text into the window, any carriage returns will be pasted in as well; so you could type your notes using notepad and then copy/paste into the galaxy notes window...
