Re: OT: Stanley Cup Finals
I lost all interest once Ottawa got knocked off. Plus, I don't find anything appealing (or watchable) about the Ducks or Devils. Seinfeld reruns are more appealing right now

But all that is just my opinion of course.

Watching the Senators go down after getting so close just killed off all my enthusiam for the NHL Playoffs.
As for the Ducks & Devils, they just don't stir any interest for me. Maybe if Paul Kariya was still popping in nearly a goal a game like he was years ago i'd be more apt to watch, but a Final between 2 teams that traditionally have trouble scoring doesn't reel me in. Sure the goals picked up for both teams later in the Series, but too little to late (for me).
Unless Ottawa is involved in some way, i'll take the NBA Finals over the NHL Finals any day.

True, I'm a Football fan at heart, next would be Basketball (College and Pro) and then Hockey. I didn't really start getting into hockey until this season. Before I would just keep track during the playoffs to see who won the Cup. So I still don't understand all the rules of Hockey but I'm slowly picking up on it.
But still, I look for the Ducks to be back next year and even tougher then they are now. But for now, on to the NBA!
Edit: typo.

Re: OT: Stanley Cup Finals
Ugh. New Jersey won. Too bad Brodeur didn't get the props he deserves - 7 playoff shutouts is 3 more than any goalie has had before! Giguere also played very well and did deserve the Conn Smythe - first player since Ron Hextall in '87 to win the Playoff MVP on the losing team. I remember that series well!
Oh well. Anahiem won't be back to the finals for some time. They played well this Postseason, but I'd expect one of the Western conference powerhouses to exact revenge next year. Most likely Dallas.
Of course I would love to see the Leafs win, but I don't expect that to happen either.
