Great choice of name. There are far too many common names in this country: Matt for example, there are far too many Matts. Max, on the other hand, is wonderfully rare and still recognizable and strongly masculine.

Thanks again, guys. His breathing situation has improved, but he's not out of the woods yet. It's just going to take time. The good news is that his mother has been discharged and is on her way home. Then it's off to the second hospital to help our son get better.
Also, David...thanks for the avatar. Truly a wonderful picture if I do say so myself.

But I do agree with you, my parents picked too common of a name for me. I would much rather have a different name then I have but I'm stuck with it.
