Re: Has anybody gotten an Email like this, asking you to "send SE4gold" to the sender?
It is 99.9% likely that it is a would-be pirate, not a kid...
Getting emails is easy. They can be gotten off of this forum or PBW.

Re: Has anybody gotten an Email like this, asking you to "send SE4gold" to the sender?
I like the suggestion to sign him up for spam lists. A good way to do this is by posting to Usenet with his email address. You can even do this 'honestly' by posting questions to various games or admin.* Groups asking for advice about his request and including the full email and headers (erm, with your OWN email removed to preserve your own privacy from the spammers.. Or if you're really evil you could post _AS_ him and do something nasty to get him in additional trouble. Address 'harvesters' will then pick up the address and add it to lots of spam lists at once. This is much more efficient than going out a manually filling in forms.

Hrmm... asking for it via E-mail... how silly. SE4 has been out long enough that you can easily find it on various P2P networks, as much as I disagree with that it is still a fact.

In my research on this issue, I have yet to find SE4G on any P2P network.

Re: Has anybody gotten an Email like this, asking you to "send SE4gold" to the sender?
True enough that this person might be a pirate, but what if he is just some guy from the UK who has no money?
We should not assume the worst until more info is known. Then again this could be just a prank to see what we will do. I for one think it best to let the subject die.

Re: Has anybody gotten an Email like this, asking you to "send SE4gold" to the sender?
I will not give out the name of the P2P program I used to find SE4G and Starfury and DO and SE3. That would just be asking for trouble. I think the subject should be allowed to die down as well.
No good comes of these discussions.
