Multiple planet start is a remarkabley good thing for the AI. With extra planets, even the standard AI can get advanced tech so quickly I may be suprised, and it helps the TDM Modpack AI as well. It also insurse no AI falls too far behind at the start, so no one AI gains the advantage over all the others.
