At the 13th International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce Wojskowe Zaklady Uzbrojenia No. 2 presented a “Smart Remote Mine to Fight Helicopters and Low-flying Targets” IMZR-11, which on the very first day proved to be the sensation of the Fair. The mine effectively fights helicopters that come within a range of up to 150 m at a speed up to 300 km/h. It is equipped only with passive sensors; thus, it is undetectable from the helicopter. Two explosively formed projectiles (EFP) travelling at a velocity of over 2500 m/s are capable of piercing the helicopter armour equal to piercing steel armour of 60mm.
