Re: Space Empires IV: AI Races/Ship Sets
The Atrocitionians
V 1.0
Only recently were the Atrocitionians able to achieve space flight. Since that time they have expanded their empire with considerable effectiveness. They were created many millions of years ago as a means of protection. The beings that created them have long since become extinct, leaving their machines to rule their world.

The Derajil
V1.0
All attempts at obtaining a historical accounting of the Derajil people have been met with extreme hostility. Even covert attempts have failed to produce much information about their history. We do know that the Derajil have only recently obtained space flight ability, more likely than not through the salvaging of a crashed alien ship. It is advised that any race encountering the Derajil take extreme caution and expedite any and all efforts toward homeworld defense.

The Mahebaw
V1.0
The Mahebaw are selective about the information that they will release about their history. Little is known about them except that they are a very old race that only recently acquired space travel technology. Although they are mostly peaceful, they have in recent years grown more aggressive and have begun to expand out into the galaxy with some degree of aggressiveness and hostility.

The Patriarchs
V1.0
We know that the Patriarchs homeworld was populated by humans from Earth around 10,500 A.D. Earth standard time. According to Patriarch historical files, a race known only as the "Takers" landed on old world, Earth, and took them to the new world, Patriarch, in order to save them from a great catastrophe. We know that these "takers" were responsible for populating a great many worlds with human beings over many eons. The Patriarchs began developing space travel around the same time as other races and are considered to be an aggressive empire-expanding race with a strong desire for conquest.

The Progenitors
V 1.0
Progenitor history is one of war that can only be rivaled by the warring history of Earth. Recently Progenitor scientists were able to develop space faring technology thus allowing the Progenitors to erupt upon the galactic scene with the violence and force of an ancient and deadly caldera.

Re: Space Empires IV: AI Races/Ship Sets
Just a note for anybody intending to use the IFN shipset.
The ship mini portraits are 32pel x 32pel instead of the required 36 x 36, so if you want to use this shipset, you'll need to edit them up to the right size.
