I highly recommend downloading the P&Nism mod

Same storyline, but far better physics... armor vs shields, crew and lifesupport, weapons balance, energy management, usefulness of fighters, serious distictions between ship sizes. Everything.

Here's a screenshot of me getting my poor little destroyer torn to shreds by a pirate cruiser and his buddies.
Its a slow and painful shredding, of course. With lots of time to try to get away, find cover or outside help. I just barely made it to a nearby planet, which I hid behind long enough for the pirates to get distracted by a passing cargo ship.
One of the greatest joys in life is seeing a TCN battleship ride to the rescue when you're besieged by pirates. A glorious broadside of quantum torpedoes, bringing sweet sweet revenge.

Bol.com heeft SEV ook, is leverbaar binnen 1 dag (ik had geen zin om te wachten, en heb toch geen tijd voor star fury nu ik SEV heb)

Wat?! Bol.com heeft hem ook?! Tjees, dan had ik hem helemaal niet uit Amerika hoeven laten komen. Nou ja, gelukkig heeft een vriendin van m'n zus hem meegenomen, dus geen transportkosten.
