It is possible but it was not on purpose , i just had 2 void spectres and a visitor slightly empowered in astral casting Dreams of Rlyeh nearly each turns near the end game on provinces i selected randomly.
Maybe one of them got this enemy prophet, i don't know for sure as i was not checking the battles after turns.

Please forgive the newbie question, but where does insanity come from? Is it a spell or just from being in enemy domain? If the latter, is it an issue with every race? I've only observed it when I butt heads with R'lyeh. Then again, I've only played a few games.

LA R'leyh's dominion spreads insanity.

IF there are other ways to get it, they're very rare.

Yow, I just noticed this too as half my elite minotaurs started whaling on each other.

Any advice to deal with such a problem? Is there any cure to insanity? Are holy units more resistant to it?

Preach and spread dominion before invading. Temples are really, really important
