Location of flag icons
Okay, so I know the flags for at least some countries are in battle.shp, and that Icon0095-98 have the pick button icons and the mini flags.
My question is, where are the flags not in battle.shp, or should they all be in there and I'm just having a hard time getting at them through shpedit for some reason?

Re: Location of flat icons
Maybe if you tell me WHICH flag you are looking for I could more easily offer an answer

Re: Location of flat icons
I was unaware that there were more than one file. Had I known they were not all contained in one file, or in a simple pair (like the purchase and mini flags) I would've mentioned this.
I apologize.
I am looking for the locations for the El Salvador Flag (Country 83) immediately, but also the ones that are not readily visible in the Battle.shp file, but also the UN flag (Country 80).
EDIT: I also realize I'm incorrect in say that the purchase screen flags are in Icon0095-96, those are the menu screen ones. Either way, thanks for looking this up specifically now.

Re: Location of flat icons
The "button" flag for El Salvador is in Battle.shp starting as image 507.
The UN "button" flag is also in Battle.shp starting as image 487.
Why you cannot find them in Battle is a mystery to me.

Re: Location of flat icons
This is what I figured, and I don't know why I can't find them either. Thanks very much for indulging me.

Re: Location of flat icons
Okay, so I tried extracting the Red flags from Battle.shp (first one is #227) and its giving me a blank when I view it in the .shp edit and when I extract the .bmp. Found the others fine. Is there any particular reason why this might be happening?
Also, on a side note I see Laotian flags (both RLG and DRL) and Georgian flags. Were there plans to add these nations?

Re: Location of flat icons
NO, the first one isn't at 227, it's at 229 in SHPEDit. All you had to do was poke around a bit to figure that out.
You'll see a lot of flags that were included years ago when we weren't quite sure what nations we were going to end up using and no...... there are no plans to add those nations now.

Re: Location of flat icons
Thanks. I did poke around quite a bit, I went back and forth and couldn't get it to work. I'm sure it will work now, but its not like I didn't try. I figured out the last ones from the helpful information you provided, so I thought I'd ask again. I've been working on this on and off for about a month now.
