Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!
Thanks for the items on your thug, Darkwind. With everyone going to war with my peaceful race, we can use all donations we can get. You are not doing too badly as Ulm. And I like the changes made to Ulm. They would help you a lot more if I was a race that had sacred troops. Your hate for LA Arcos is misplaced. YOU did attack us, you know. We did not attack you. The fact that we successfully defended ourselves is no reason to hate on us.
LA Arcos is a tough match for Ulm. But you are also not seeing the main armies either, as Ruin has directed the best troops to be sent to meet other threats. You did kill a few Agema. But those militia-we are trying to get those killed! those are an unfortuante result of "lucky" events.
Just kidding about not knowing what to do with blind cursed werewolves. Just poking some fun at Utgard. LA Arcos can actually heal afflictions. So they would not be blind for long.

Funny because the blind, cursed werewolves were thinking of tearing down the walls of Arcos and slaughtering the nerdy book lovers when they realized they had already done that.

I'm more resigned than hateful. However, if hate will win me the war, then prepare for so much hating even Hitler (or whatever group/person you have a particular dislike to) would be surprised.
Finally, killing a few militia is better than being slaughtered wholesale by them.

Oh, and Utgard managed to squeeze out a little astral bless for a slight MR boost. And a drain scale. Just want to point that out as sometimes the enslavers miss those. The wolves must run free!

Thanks for playing Revolution. You had some very ill luck in opponents this game, but we were glad to see you. You did manage to curse most of those blind werewolves.

thanks for the kind words Xietor, it was cool to take part in a mega game. ...I learned my lesson, difficult research and tons of neighbors makes a sleeping master lich a poor choice; astral fires was allways so very far away. And when I finally did get astral fires and happened to meander my lich out of my dominion a clever someone took notice and sent a half dozen seeking arrows into my army (nother lesson learned). Then, on the last turn when I finally got him back from call god and went to script astral fires for my castle defense I found to my horror that he had lost his fire magic...oh the humanity. In closing...
Those cursed werewolves are my legacy! MY LEGACY!!!!!

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!
LA Marignon would like to emphatically state that it almost certainly had nothing at all to do with those Seeking Arrows. With so many provinces, and so many arrows zooming around the globe, it is a statistical impossibility that we were responsible for that. Not that we cast Seeking Arrows to begin with. No, we were one of the original signatories of the Autumn of Year 2 Ban on Homing Arrows and Stone Birds. Did you know that Seeking Arrows that miss their target are responsible for almost three dozen sprained ankles and foot injuries each year? It is true, the arrows can lie in fields for years, just waiting for some poor farmer to trip over them or cut his foot on an arrowhead.

Damnit Egil, how many times do I have to tell you - you don't need the ring of tamed lightning anymore - Eriu is gone. Pick up the amulet with the star next time you wander off!
btw good game Revolution. The Iron Crutch shall long be cursed by all the Utgardian gamblers who ever since they met the evil old man now constantly stub their toes, break their beer mugs, and lose every bet they make.
Currently they are betting that LA Arcos will have a long and healthy life!
