Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
Thanks, hopefully the Aussies will now make most soccer World Cups, as they are now in the Asia group and should be in the top 4 of that group (large as it is).
And yes we like to have a good time, my favourite is the Aussie BBQ - very hard to beat - only the Maori Hungi or the South African equivalent come close.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
I'm a 31 year old from Memphis, TN. I have been an avid computer and board gamer since I was 5 or 6 (when I won my first game of Risk). My favorite computer games are: RRT2, Gal Civ2, FM, StarCon2, and Front Office Football 2004. My favorite board games are El Grande, Die Macher, Primordial Soup, and Advanced Squad Leader.
I have a wife and two boys, a 4 year old who loves SC2, and a 1-1/2 year old.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
Welcome aboard. A fellow boardgame enthusiast, eh? If you like ASL, you may very well like Duel of Ages, which is like a time-travelling ASL. I've never played ASL before, but I'm a huge DoA fan and many fellow fans have made the comparison. I play a pretty huge assortment of boardgames myself, largely Eurogames and the fantasy/sci-fi/horror fun of Fantasy Flight Games.
Looking forward to talking Dominions with you!

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
I play all types of boardgames. I've got a game group here in town where we play every Wednesday night, and two Saturdays a month with the entire group. We also have side meetings as well.
We mainly play Euros because they are so quick to play, but I prefer some meatier games as well. But from FFG, we play Wings of War and A Game of Thrones. Some in the group like TI3, but I can't stand what they have done to that game. Citadels and Through the Desert are solid games too by FFG.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
hey all.
had to register to express my exitement about dom3 shipping, so i may as well introduce myself.
30 yr old norwegian gamer, supposedly going to finish my phd within 3 months of getting Dom3... (ouch). Addicted to games - like most of you i suppose: RPGs, boardgames, computer games, wargames, even an unhealthy WoW addiction, but Dom3 may cure that.
my <3 : old Darklands, Fallout series, JaggedAlliance2, Civ series, anything from Paradox games (!), and Dom2 (!!)

Welcome on the forum.
I was a WoW addict as well, but somehow the game became boring after a period. I can't say the same about Doms 2. Me and my mates here play with it a lot still. Dominions 3. will suck us in probably.

They all say that. You think you can quit whenever you want, right?
Well, think again.
