Hi Rodan and welcome to KOTH league. I've put you at the bottom of the Hill. All I need to know is your PBW nick.

Rodan. Just curious but do you play a "Rodian Empire" in SEIV?
If so do you find that in combat that a omnipotent force always makes you shoot second?

I might have one of Greedo in the emporium, but I'm too lazy to look through all 1000+ avatars to find it.. So here you go, a brand spanking new avatar.
Cheers!

Re: Are you tough enough to be the \"King of the Hi
Asmala, please move me up to the next level. Rambie surrendered to me this past turn due to lack of resources and my large fleet heading for his home planet.
Rambie, great game! When I started looking through the systems you had when you surrendered I can see why you ran out of resources. You hardly had any planets at all! I controled 2/3 of the map and I was still going through and finding empty systems the closer I got to your home. I was very suprised by this because we met in some systems away from yours so I figured you had the other system colonized from there on in.
But I feel that if you had expanded better then you did you would have won this game. Your ships were on par if not slightly better then mine as far as technology level is concerned and at times I was very worried about that fact. But I just keep my economy going and new with as much map as I started to control I would eventually run you out of resources because of you trying to build a large fleet to combat mine.
Thanks for the great game and perhaps we'll meet again!

Re: Are you tough enough to be the \"King of the Hi
Hail to Asmala. He is still the King.
The Primitive one truly lived up to his name in this game
After Asmals stole my pop early I took a crazy chance and went for the early second colonizing tech while waiting with ECM and Sensors. With the ballance mod and the difficulties to train ships I figured I would have time enough to upgrade the sensors later. Guess I was wrong, when Asmala came I still needed 3 more turns + repair time to have my ships ready to face him.
Could still made a fight for it though, if it wasn't for the fact I just tried to colonize 25 planets with my new ICE class colonizers. Unfortunately they had the Rock colonizer module. Damned upgrade button
Wouldn't have mattered much if they had the right tech though, Asmala would have won this one anyway.
I need a rest Asmala. Take me off the hill for a while

Re: Are you tough enough to be the \"King of the Hi
I decided to go as straight as possible to default LC design (ECM 3, sensors 3 etc.) and ship/fleet training. I hoped I would catch Primitive off-guard that way, and it looks like I succeed.
Primitive, I haven't seen your main fleet yet, so I'd like to know how many LCs you had. I had total of 79 LCs (plus support ships). Half of those were still travelling to the meeting point or being upgraded to the most recent technology.
Thanks for the nice game Primitive.

Koth page updated.
It's me and Joachim next. First we need somebody to set up the game. Slynky, could you do the honors?
Joachim, any preferences for settings? Here are the settings Primitive and I used, and I liked them:
-One good starting planet
-No openers
-No talisman
-No ancient
-Geo's balance mod
-Other than that default KOTH

68 LC's. About 45 of them in training next door to Gergan. In 4 turns they would have been formidable
+ 38 useless colonizers
What was your score BTW. I was a bit supprised not to be in front when the colonizers popped up. I had 715 K points, 176 K resources, 134 K Research and 110 Ships + 2 Bases.
