They have not updated their site in months, and are now asking for publishers. LOL, they think Shrapnel is too small and unable to fund further development. (Got that tid bid from a forum site)

Well, I wish them luck. I really do.

Actually I have known about this for a very long long time. Just read my other STARs threads. What I am saying is now even I am loosing hope.

Yeah, their latest 'news' post on their site is appealing for console publishers to consider their game.

I guess they think they can get MS to put it on the X-Box?

If they aren't willing to take the small profits from self-publishing then I guess Stars! SNG is never gonna see the light of day. Too bad. What we were shown looked pretty cool.

Plus Stars! during it's debut was one kickass 4X game, highly worthy of the genre. It happened to be the first one I played back in '95. Definately holds up to the expectations and then some for its time. Too bad the great sequel doesn't look like it's in great shape, we've been hyping about it since '98.
