Re: The Race to 1k Posts thread.. BYOP!
If it's meant to be a cannon, 4. Number 13 is also cool looking. It reminds me of several 3d games released in the past two or three years. Looks good, please post more pics like this.

Guys, please keep in mind that this thread is not about personal post counts, but rather about reaching a specific post objective. So please help keep it alive by posting more than one or two word replies. If the powers at be begin to feel that this thread has gone astray, they will shut it down and rightfully so. So again, please make "your" posts about substance rather than about quantity. The rest will tend to itself. Thanks.

Nice try AT, but trying to put a 'sock' in Narf is a loosing battle. Besides his tiny posts are like crumbs that we all feed on. (only problem is we are all getting fat due to the sheer volume of crumbs ) LOL
As to the Gun Mount choice,.. I'm stuck between #5 and #13 (leaning just a tad towards #5.) It's a nice design, keep up the fun work.
Cheers!

Oh, and just in case people have forgotten, it is legal to make a second post in here, but not more.
With that in mind, I have another observation about your "Moderator On" post AT,.. Chances are Narf fell asleep half way through it. He does after all have the attention span of a ,.. well, Mouse. LOL
Cheers!

The warning has been provided as an informational advisory. The forum rules are clear and if abuse continues, this thread could be shut down before it reaches its goal. I would hate to see that occur so I ask everyone to keep the forum rules in mind when posting.

I think 4 looks like an actual warship turret from "today's" (i.e. approx. 1900-2005) era. That's why I like it.

Re: The Race to 1k Posts thread.. BYOP!
I was quite taken by 6 and 13, then gratified to see others saying the same. I have a personal preferance for dark but have learned that it can make it hard to play the game. I think 6 and 13 should be it with the "winner" decided by which overall feel you want for the race in question.
OR do both! Ive majorly enjoyed the races which did 2 versions of the same race. I like to play as an "ally" and in solo games I like to play 2 races at once. One defensive and researching, and the other more aggressive. Then I can iron out the best ways to be cross-supportive between the two for any MP games I might get into. Races with a "split from the home planet" version work really well for me.
