Mod Pack 1.0 Compatibility with v1.20?
I just downloaded the new Mod Pack and can't wait to try it out. However, I don't want to have any problems installing the next SE4 patch due out pretty soon (I think) and getting it to run right.
Can someone in the know tell me if the Mod Pack will coexist peacefully with the next patch? In other words, if I install it and then install new 1.20 patch later over it will I have to then reinstall the Mod Pack or will the mod files conflict with any new stuff in the patch? I remember that when 1.19 came out it caused some problems for some that already had mods installed. Just call me cautious, I guess.
Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Mod Pack 1.0 Compatibility with v1.20?
We don't know what the next patc brings so we can't promise it won't give any problems. However, I don't think there will be any problems:
1.) A backup folder is included to undo all the MOD did.
2.) The MOD only adresses the races. If it won't work with the the next patch, delete the 3 new races and reinstall the backup. This will revert your SE4 to a normal V1.19. And! be sure, if the new patch comes out and brings any changes, you can bet that the next MOD pack is right behind it.

Re: Mod Pack 1.0 Compatibility with v1.20?
Since 1.20 is NOT going to be the Version released as a public patch it really doesn't matter that much. There will probably have to be several more iterations of the beta process before the patch comes out and only when the public Version is ready will it be possible to figure out what changes need to be made in the mods.

That's exactly what a like about the combined force of Modders. The ease of undoing the Mod if problems occur or if not compatible with a next patch.
Combined modders, may the force be with you and keep up the good work!

Thanks guys. Sounds like I can install the mod pack and play without having to worry about reinstalling the game when the patch comes out.
Also, just wanted to say thanks to those that did all the hard work on this mod pack. I've done similar things for other games and for me the the best feeling was having others play your mod, have fun with it and acknowledge the work you did. So I salute you all. Well done.
Now to go kill something

Ah, thanks! Indeed, that's exactly the thing that keep one going.

Mephisto, indeed go on! We "normal" players have so much additional fun if you continue to enrich this fantastic game. Be sure, we enjoy your efforts and appreciate the work and time you spend on this!

Re: Mod Pack 1.0 Compatibility with v1.20?
Ditto what Mephisto said. Also, the next mod Version will contain an "undo" zip file to execute which will replace all the changed files with the original files (it won't however, remove add-on races - but that is easily done by hitting the delete key!)
